What a week!
I got two workouts in with Randy and I spent the weekend at JunqueFest. It was the first ever event at Wilson Brewer Park where the Chamber, Iowa Antique Network and Wilson Brewer Park partnered up to have 54 junk/recycled/upcycled/metal/wood/yard art and more vendors come for the weekend.
We started on Friday at 7 am and helped the vendors set up. The walking began that moment. I walked all day on Friday. I lifted, toted, smiled and walked. Miles of walking. On Saturday we repeated the process. Miles of walking. Today was more of the same. Three solid days of working the leg muscles, glutes, abs, biceps, triceps, brain and hands. Best workout I’ve had in a long, long time.
I got involved. I volunteered in a community event. In the process, I met new people, made things happen and I got my exercise.
Exercise doesn’t always have to be in the gym.
