Chris Brogan is a friend, a super smart guy and has the goal to make things simpler in life. Today in his Sunday newsletter he shared this tidbit:
Use an accountability buddy. Instead of announcing what you WILL do, announce what you’ve done for the week. And keep a constant list.
I have a partner I’m accountable too. I give her encouragement, advice if ever needed, accolades and more. We talk about what is c
oming up and what we can do for each other. But we’ve never consistently shared what we’ve done for the week! She’s better at it than I am – I know how much weight she’s lost and what she’s eating. But I don’t share that with her – I mostly keep quiet, hoping her activity will somehow by osmosis happen to me too.
Time to change that — I’ll be speaking to her tonight and I’m going to ask that we set a schedule to talk, and that we both share what we’ve done for the week an keep an accounting of it!
Great advice, Deb. As always. 🙂
thanks Beth Ann — we do what we can! 🙂
Hey there would you mind letting me know which web host you’re wornkig with? I’ve loaded your blog in 3 completely different internet browsers and I must say this blog loads a lot quicker then most. Can you recommend a good internet hosting provider at a honest price? Thank you, I appreciate it!
