I had a great meeting with our local Super 8 owner, Bhavik (Bobby) Shah last week. It was your standard check in meeting: how are you, what’s working, what’s new, how can we help kind of meeting. We got to talk about becoming more involved in the community. We talked about participating in events, attending meetings, promoting activities and living in this town I love.
Bobby woke me right up when he said “This town has done a lot for me and I want to pay them back. That’s karma.”
Karma. Wikipedia describes it, in part, as “Good intent and good deed contribute to good karma and future happiness, while bad intent and bad deed contribute to bad karma and future suffering.”
Giving back is indeed good karma. Wait until you see what Bhavik is planning for 2015!
