“What we do in life echoes in eternity.” – Maximus
So what can I do in the year of 2011 that will make a difference in the years to follow?
That’s a pretty deep question. Yesterday I had a conversation with my friend Cruzanne and we talked about what it was like to be women without our own children. I have two step sons who came into my life about half way through their childhood. I didn’t get the opportunity to raise them, mold them, contribute daily to their growth. I did get to love them. And in that I was lucky.
I think all of us what to leave a legacy, and often we do that in our children. But what if you don’t have any children? Most everyone wants to make a difference in at least someone’s life, and some in the world. I’m no different.
One of the things I do well, and love to do, is write. This will be the year that I write. Cruzanne and I are working a project for 2011. I’ll keep you updated.
