Ben Smith is a friend of mine and I’m honored to be able to work with Ben on a project coming to Iowa. Ben made it possible for Brian Solis to come to Des Moines to speak and he is now bringing Jason Falls here! Here’s Ben, in his own words …
Social: IRL is heading back to Des Moines on August 30. This time we’ll be joined by Social Media Explorer’s Jason Falls. We currently have a special pre-sale opportunity good through June 30, with registrations discounted to just $45 ($20 for students and educators).
Details and registration are at http://bit.ly/DSMAug30
At our last event, Brian Solis inspired attendees to create change. For this follow up event, Jason Falls will focus on the more practical aspects of making that change happen, with an an in-depth discussion on tools, tactics, content, planning, strategy and measurement. Jason will help take attendees to the next level in creating change in their businesses and organizations by equipping them with practical knowledge, supported by plenty of case studies and valuable takeaways.
The afternoon will start with short presentations by guest speakers from the local community – part of our ongoing initiative to promote the region’s thriving tech and innovation. We’ll include a special showcase of local startups.
Jason will then lead two 90 minute sessions designed so that both beginners and those already at a more advanced level, will equally have valuable takeaways.
We’re excited to return to Des Moines with another nationally acclaimed expert, and to be able to bring Jason to a local level event, and for a very affordable rate.
For those not familiar with Jason, he is an author, speaker, and CEO of Social Media Explorer, a digital marketing agency and information products company. He was ranked by Forbes Magazine as one of the nation’s “Top Ten Social Media Influencers.” He is also one of the most in-demand speakers in the social media, public relations and marketing fields due to a simple truth: He delivers value. Known for his clever insights, sharp wit and the ever-present brutal honesty, Jason tackles audiences, not topics, engaging and sending all away with a sense they’ve learned something. You can find Jason online @JasonFalls and at SocialMediaExplorer.com.
Hope you’ll be able to be part of this special follow up event. See you August 30!
