This day many years ago, centuries and centuries, was a day of extreme sadness. Jesus had been crucified and laid to rest in a tomb. His followers were in shock and in a dark place on this day. What would they do now? Had everything they learned from their rabbi been a tall tale? They had given up everything to follow him, what would they do now?
Oh the difference a day makes!
