I have this friend, Glenda Watson-Hyatt, and she consistently pushes all who come into contact with her to achieve greatness. Her will to do better, be better, and share better is strong. Her insights are good, her writing is spot on.
This Saturday Glenda is running the steps at the Philadelphia Art Museum – like Rocky did. Big deal you say. It IS a big deal. Glenda has cerebral palsy and is mostly confined to a wheel chair. She’s known as the left thumb blogger because that is the one part of her body she has most control over.
So I’m asking you to cheer her on, wherever you may be. At 10 am Eastern time, think of Glenda. Because she is achieving the impossible. And if she can do that, what can you do?
This quote from Muhammad Ali sums it up:
Impossible is just a big work thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they’ve been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact, it’s an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration, it’s a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.
Thank you, Deb!
