Lessons from a cat

Lessons I’ve learned from my cats:bird

Trust Someone. We all need someone we can trust.

Love someone when they need it. Cats are great at just being there, loving you no matter what.

Always reach for joy. Watch your cat – they know how to make themselves happy.

Sleep when you are tired.  Cats always make sure they get enough sleep.

Do your job with relish.  Cats will always catch mice (their job) and enjoy it too.

Ask for what you want. Have you ever tried to ignore a cat that wants to be rubbed?

My beloved Stutz Bearcat, pictured above, died yesterday from kidney failure.  He is sorely missed.  Treasure your cats, enjoy them and be more like them.  They can teach us much.

So sorry about your loss, Deb. I’ve had many cats over the years and always enjoyed their company. I’ll tell ya; there’s nothing like having a cat sitting on your chest, gazing into your eyes, and purring like a locomotive!

Thank you Bubba – animals give us that unconditional love, and it’s hard when they leave us.
